Can I drop my car off for a state inspection?

No, you cannot drop off your vehicle for this service. Since it is such a fast service, we do not allow drop-offs due to our limited parking spots. Furthermore, that also includes not running across the street to grab a taco or latte. You are required to wait on premise during this service. If the only service being performed is a state inspection, we cannot allow any drop-offs.

How much is a state inspection?

Safety is $7.00 & Emissions is $11.50. Safety & Emissions is $18.50 and is CASH ONLY for this service. 

How long do state inspection appointments take?

Approximately 25 minutes.

Why do you require only Texas Insurance ID cards?

The state of Texas has legal insurance requirements for vehicles on Texas roadways. We do require for your insurance ID card to state "Texas Liability Insurance Card" or something like "This policy provides at least the minimum amounts of liability insurance required by the Texas Motor Vehicle Safety Responsibility Act for the specified vehicle(s) for a minimum of $30,000 per injured person, up to a total of $60,000 for everyone injured in an accident, and $25,000 for property damage."

Can I drop off my car for services other than just a state inspection?

Yes, we actually encourage drop-offs for other services that are more than just a state inspection. 

How long should I plan to drop off my vehicle for other services?

If we are just plugging your tire, depending on availability, we may be able to do this while you wait. Oil changes need at least one hour and sometimes longer. If you are dropping off for a check up or anything else, expect to leave it for a few hours. 

How much is an oil change?

This depends on your vehicle. We go by spec and each vehicle is different. Please note, if you would like to know how much a service is, please ask PRIOR to making an appointment. Please be advised that we only use high quality engine oil filters and synthetic motor oil along with a multi-point inspection. 

Where should I park when I arrive?

The best place is alongside the front office door under the breezeway.

Where should I go when I get there?

There is a sign that leads you to the front office that faces S. Congress Ave. Please refrain from walking into the garage bays. 

Can I leave my car with you to fix while I go out of town?

Please let us know how long you plan to be out of town before you go, as we have limited space and cannot allow a vehicle to sit at our property for more than 30 days.
